Eligibility Criteria of BoB LBO Recruitment

Nationality:

A Candidate must be either:

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. subject of Nepal, or
  3. subject of Bhutan, or
  4. Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2, 3, 4 and 5 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. 
Educational Qualification:
  • Graduation in any discipline (including Integrated Dual Degree); professional degrees (CA, Engineering, Medical) also eligible.
Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or RRB. NBFC, fintech, cooperative bank experience is not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025):

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Relaxation:

  • OBC: 3 years
  • SC/ ST: 5 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • ESM: 5 years

Language Requirement: Proficiency in the local language of the applied state (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
