Eligibility Criteria of APSC Soil Conservation Ranger Recruitment

  Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must provide proof of domicile by uploading a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes or a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, which will be accepted as evidence of residency.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Geology, Forestry, or Environmental Science)
    or

  • B.E./B.Tech in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or Civil Engineering from a recognized university 

Age Limit (as on 1 Jan 2025):

  • Minimum age: 21 years

  • Maximum age: 38 years

Age Relaxation:
  • OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years 
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex‑Servicemen as per rules
