Eligibility Criteria of IBPS SO Recruitment

Citizenship:
A Candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- subject of Nepal, or
- subject of Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2, 3, 4 and 5 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualifications:

IT Officer: 4-years Engineering Degree (CS/IT/Electronics) or PG in relevant IT discipline.

Agricultural Field Officer: 4-year graduation in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, etc.

Rajbhasha Adhikari: PG in Hindi/Sanskrit with English as a subject.

Law Officer: LLB degree with Bar Council enrollment.

HR Officer: 2-years PG in HR/Personnel Management or equivalent.

Marketing Officer: MBA or PG Diploma in Marketing.
